Lakefront Salmon Cottage

I visited this lovely pink cottage with my son. Nancy kindly welcomed us in person and checked everything is alright. She introduced where and how we can use kayaks and paddle boats-! It was first time to ride kayak for my boy. It was great time to enjoy this lovely place. Cottage was clean and comfortable also-! We hope to visit here again in the near future 😍😍

I absolutely love these little cottages- this was my second stay here, and it's just fantastic!! The hosts are so friendly to me AND my dog- and the cottages themselves are nice and clean and well outfitted with everything you might need. But the real star of the show is the little beach and the lake right out your front door!! My dog LOVES swimming, so this place is heaven for him- and when he's happy, I'm happy too!! My only regret is that we don't have the chance to get here more often, or stay longer when we do come!!

Called at the last minute for a one night stay with my dog. Nancy was great, fast check-in (even though she wasn't there at the time), she stopped by later to see how we were and give us a little gift. Nice location, friendly neighbors in the other cottages. Small but comfy cottage. Will definitely consider staying again when in the area.

Relaxing Getaway! Positive: Super cute older property on a lake. Great grill, picnic table and sitting spot in front of our cabin. Comfy bed. Negative: A bit smaller than expected, kitchenette was nice to have but needed to be better stocked (we only had one butter knife, no can opener, one ok steak knife and one terrible one, only two spoons). Don't plan to really cook a meal inside, it's not set up for that. Water also comes out of the faucet white/cloudy but clears.... I'm sure it was ok and we used it to wash ourselves and dishes but didn't drink it. It is on a busy road, so there was traffic noise when youre outside. If you bring a dog, be aware there's really no place to walk him on the property, but there's a great state park walking trails about a mile down the road.

It was wildly beautiful & extremely relaxing Positive: I loved the view of the lake, waking to the the morning songbirds singing, sipping my coffee while relaxing on the porch. It was the perfect spot for my short sabbatical. Next time I'll stay longer Negative: Due to my walking disability, I found the very slight incline a bit challenging for my balance.
